The former Pacific Beach Motel aka Sand Dollar Condos

This building has been standing since 1938, when it was built by the Army Corp of Engineers. It is a sturdy cement block building that was originally a 19 room baracks. 

Later is was converted into apartments and then a hotel.

Fletcher and Janet stumbled across this building in November 2021. The sale closed in the spring of 2022. The entire electrical system was replaced as well as other critical systems updated. 

Each of the 8 condos have been updated with more remodel work planned. The former picnic area is now a formal courtyard with 2 state of the art hot tubs and a conversation area with a propane fire. These are all nestled under gazebos with the conversation area enclosed on three sides with shiplap interiors. The hot tubs' back wall is next! This allows the hot tubs and conversation area to be used 24/7 365, rain, wind or shine! 

There are also 2 charcoal BBQs and a smoker.
